Try Guy Salmon. They break it down into A,B or C service. As I remember the top service is about £600. Gulp!!! 'An it's Tommy this an' Tommy that,

I set up a service plan with Stratstone which basically gets me a service a year for 3yrs at the cost of £185 per service . I was going in for the 'oil check' which was £308 and they mentioned the plan to me. As my service was the next day, I had to pay £149 up front then the rest is on direct debit for 15months at £27 = £405 + £149 = £554 . They're doing it to get people with older cars to use the main dealer. (it costs £20 to cancel at any time and you just pay what you owe on services , still based on the £185 per service cost , or they refund what you have 'overpaid' , so can't go wrong if you sell the car). I enquired about a plan if I change the car to say a 1yr old RR and that would be £29 for 36months = £1044 for 3 services = £348 / service , one of these being the big one which is £550 at my dealer. May be worth visiting a Stratstone dealer if there is one near you to see what they can do. Steve

The car is 10 months old and has done just under 14,000 miles. I love the fact that when you start first thing in the morning the screen says "Service Required".
Just curiouse as to what the steeler is likley to extract. letters not necessarily in the right order

600GBP!!
OMG!
That's about $970US.
Am I the only one on this board who services his own vehicle?
All the juices, pads, etc etc etc, a nice afternoon in the garage, and it's done, for about 1/2 or less of those prices.
Either I'm a cheap Censored , or I don't trust anyone to touch my cars.
Or both. Very Happy Jim

i am normally the same, i do everything on my cars myself, but when it comes to the FFRR it is still under warranty and you get the in my opinion the all important stamp in the service book.

i grudge paying garages vast amounts of money for not alot of work, when there is no secret to what they do. if however anything goes wrong or you need something doing, there is usually a bit of good will from them as you are a customer.

no good will from Stu's garage.. Crying or Very sad Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE
