The L405 look is starting to grow on me. Yes the current L322 is regal and elegant, but suddenly it is also starting to look very dated. Kind of like how the RR Classic all of a sudden looked old fashioned when the P38 came out, and then the same again when the L322 in turn superceeded the it.

In time to come I'm sure we'll get used to the L405 and not look back.

The L405 doesn't appear to be heading that way and does appear fussy. It may suit a RRS, but I don't think it's cricket for a FF.

Still, one hopes it will look better when launched and I do hope those black bumper-level grilles are dummies.

Most owners of any vehicle will not look forward to a new version with such big changes and probably not like it one bit when it first appears, but then suddenly you'll get used to seeing it & that becomes the best version to have..........shame really cause I don't want to spend any more money at the moment

Come the end of the day whatever it looks like will any other manufacturer produce anything as imposing & luxurious to drive 4x4 wise ? Unless they really screw it up and it feels bad to drive I may be tempted in a couple of years.....

If it ends up looking like that I have to say I don't mind it so much. Much better (IMO) than the very Evoquey looking one - no offence to the Evoque - but its the Evoque's job to look evoquey - not the FFRR

So let's see what other info dribs and drabs come out over the following months.

Seriously though, if someone can come up with a decent aftermarket front end, they will probably sell a fair few!

Just as loong as we're not getting into 911 territory where we get a monorly tweaked clone every few years.

I'm already getting used to the grill-ly things. Looks too plain without them....

I'm sure in real life it will look great, but I have to say what appealed to me bout the ffrr in the first place was its dominant, rugged, get out of my way presence it has on the road this new version is a bit too nicey nice sleek for me. No doubt in years to come ill probably own one, but maybe with a few mods!

Yes, less is more.

A darker colour and less blingy wheels and I suppose I could just about live with it!!
