Radio Volume

I find if I want the radio on to listen to while washing the RR the volume won't really go that loud, but when driving, it seems to go much louder Confused Is this normal?

Volume will increase with speed to make up for wind and road noise etc. Didn't think it should be massively different though. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

Presumably you have all the doors and windows shut while washing it, and that's why you can't hear it very well !

Don't think the speed sensitive volume will make very much difference - the car is supposed to be refined ain't it?!

The radio shuts off certain amplification when on acc key position (battery saving mode)... When you put the ignition on/start engine then the BCU turns all functions on as the battery will be charging when engine is running... Much the same as the heated screen circuits...

Craig Thumbs Up
