Looks like I was imagining a problem which obviously does not exist, thanks for the responses both helpful and otherwise. As for the tin of beans, ones Butler and House-maids have to eat as well, cannot have them feasting on Fortnum and Masons or Harrods delicacies can we. Thumbs Up

Reminds me of when Alan Coren was on The News Quiz and the discussion turned to supermarkets. He said "the only good thing about Sainsburys is it keeps the riff-raff out of Waitrose".

As I will shortly be moving up from a Sport to a proper Range Rover, I have ben thinking about access to the boot. With the FFRR having a drop down tailgate does this make reaching items near the rear seats awkward or impossible? I can manage with the Sport but the tailgate puts me another foot away at least, so how do members overcome this problem other than closing the tailgate and leaning over the top.

Probably a silly question but I'm getting too old to go climbing about trying to retrieve that tin which rolled up to the front. Big Cry

leave your walking stick in the boot.....
then you can hook them tins that have rolled to the front.....Thumbs Up

I simply send the wife in her freelander! No need to worry about beans behind the seats in the FF then Thumbs Up

Also, the added bonus is I don't have to drag my sorry arse round waitrose like a bored 14yr old and her car looks like a Beirut taxi (that's been shot 100 times down both sides) f Censored g kids and car doors!

You can always open the rear passenger door, fold the seat back down and lift the front section of the parcel shelf and reach in from the door............. Freelander1 load net fits better between the FFRR luggage hooks than it did in the Freely1 as well so if you can find a Freelander1 Luggage retention net/ envelope, they work well too and there are two places to rig it in the FFRR. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes
