Is the compressor used when going from normal to access? I would have thought a pressure release valve would be operating to de pressurise the system |

No. the pressure is released through a valve in the boot. Was fiddling with my suspension at the weekend had the boot floor open and you can hear the air coming out when you lower the car. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Think he has the original receipt for replacement part - will check with him what it was that was replaced. |
