confused

Ok then I have got an issue with my 2004 L322 V8 4.4 petrol that is when I floor the gas pedal it sounds like the car is gagging for air just before it picks up, I have replaced the Maf thinking it could be this but that didn't solve the problem and no fault codes have come up pointing me into any direction.
Yesterday I removed the air box to the engine to see if this had anything to do with the problem but when I tapped the gas pedal I still had the same issue. Has any one out there had the same issue or knows what the problem is as the car is gutless at the mo I am know thinking maybe ignition coils but like I said know fault codes have shown..

seems like this year is going to be another year of dealing with l322 problems Neutral

Be Great to get some help here....

Crying or Very sad

Problem for me is at the mo I am out in Sudan so even if I could get my hands on this I wouldnt have a clue what it all meant and got no chance of a mechanic here knowing either seems if it's not made in china they dont have a clue how to fix it...

when I start the car first thing and what I believe is the choke running (higher revs) the problem doesnt sound as bad so could this be a Throttle position sensor problem?
