I've read terrible things about the ride quality w/ a coil spring conversion in the LM. I dunno, I was not for it on the basis of faults in the P38 and I'm not a fan of it on the LM; why disable one of the best features of the vehicle? There are uses where switching to coils is justified - one member of the RR.net forums lived in the UAE and used his RR for dune jumping. He switched to coils. I've never (yet) heard of anyone using an LM like that.
One thing that has to be realized, though, is that an air suspension system requires maintenance - (strangely enough ) more maintenance than a coil spring suspension. Well maintained, an EAS is unbeatable. Getting rid of it in favor of coils...
