United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

If I ignore the interiors, I like the original 2002 to 2005 model. before anything got facelifted, I have a 2003, so I'm happy there.

The newer touch screens, and later dash's with higher up vents, and fancy dual display screens are ace.

I'd like an original body (!!) with the latest interior (probably) and a TDV8, I think.

Drove a 3.6 TDV8 at the Land Rover Experience at Eastnor. Never driven a 4.4, (TDV8 or petrol, or a Supercharged, be it 4.2 5.0 or whatever).

The TDV8 is a cracking engine, though a SC must be lovely, if you can live with the fuel bills.

Coming from a couple of M5's, I miss being able to overtake a line of cars.

MMmm Chatsworth House with a jet engine !!

So to conclude my ramblings, my ideal one doesn't exist - unless you can buy 2 or 3 and are good at swapping engines / bodies / interiors !!

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

I like mine a lot, however i feel that more thrust is required.

For me it has to be black, with a black interior. Kids ruin Ivory or sand and as the last 4 cars Ive had have been black then seems a shame to break a habbit. The octy is red anyhow so at least i do have some colour in my life!

So Mine.

Engine wise the S/C model sound great until you have to fill them every week with fuel and have the required "thrust" level. Having had a 535d pretty much anything seems slow.

Plus I have a plan to deal with the thrust issue. Anyone had an autologic remap?(another topic)

Interior wise i Like the facelift models more than the earlier, and the infotainment system is adequate if loaded with a load of CD's burned with MP3 tracks in which case 60+ albums will fit, so no ipod connection required. Plus i like dials more than the TFT on the new ones. RSE would be nice however we have a 7"nextbase stanchion mounted system which is pretty good.

Mine again

Wheels, love 20" rims but really 19"are pretty smart on the vogue. and the tyres are a good deal more reasonable. Have 19's so mine again.

oh and a detachable tow bar to pull stuff around...... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
