Was stolen last night from locked storage on a farm.

Wheel clamps bent, hitch locked bent. Padlocks cut through. Alarmed as well.
If they want it, they take it.

Driven approx half a mile across a field to come out onto a road. They had to move a felled tree blocking exit.

They also stole diesel from a tractor and tried to break into a fuel store unsuccessfully.

I don't hold out much hope of finding it.

The police also say they can only prosecute if its found for handling goods as no evidence of who stole it.

that'll be the new accommodation for someone getting married on 'big fat gypsy weddings'..... ... - .- -.

Worst part about it is the caravan was in such good condition.

Everything was stored in it for the winter and a quick tally up and the contents is nearly £3k

They must have known what they were doing and scoped at the place at another time to have been able to get around your security so easily and move the tree s i know the farmers round here use some pretty hefty weighted ones to block their fields off from joyriders. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Sorry to hear of this , i didn't realise Caravan theft and Motorhome theft was so widespread until after i bought mine and joined a motorhome forum ….

Just hope everything goes okay with insurance and all the other grief that comes with it ...  ====================================

I too had no idea this was so common.

Hope you get proper remuneration- though I guess even if you do they heartache and hassle with be nowhere near worth it!

Please tell us what sort of caravan it was? We'd all keep an eye out & who knows we might find the culprit.
