Mine seem to be in two halves.....so getting a wire behind them shoudln;t be too hard (I hope) - my worry is that they are replacement(but not genuine) for the balck plastic covers that should be there on my 2007 TDV8.... |

All of these things are held on with sticky stuff of some kind so warming it up will make your life easier.

those look just like my mirrors - so will try hairdryer and wire gentlly.....actaully, the front grille is a nice Supercharger one (which is not bling at all) - its also got a chrome cover on the grill bit where the bonnet meets the windscreen.....that's got to go - and I'm hoping that it too is just a cover..... |

ive just bought a 56 plate tdv8 and will be leaving my stock vogue 19" wheels as they are , I would reccomend the Supercharged grille and vents !! , Ive had the windoes tinted and added some side barsx but thats it as far as chrome goes , i cant put up with all the stick on chrome , Its a Range Rover not a VAuxhall Frontera !! |

well my plan failed at the first hurdle - eventually prised the chrome morror cover off and saw a Land Rover sticker on them - and I knew immediately that they were the official LR Chrome mirror covers and below then is nothing! So I glued them back on after a quick call to LR who wanted £150ish per mirror to asupply unpainted covers - then a quick paint job - reckon Im looking at £400 - so I'll have to live with them.

they're in two parts - chome upper and chrome bottom.....LR told me they do a painted version but its more cost effective to get them painted yourself...I'd be happy with just the stock plastic cover - dont want ro need anything more elaborate.... |
