Unsure of noise coming from front tyre / wheel / road? | |
Hi, over the past week i have noticed a noise that sounds like the noise when you have brand new tyres on with the stickers still attached and they make that paper kinda noise on the road. It sounds like it comes with every repetition of the wheel - also the brake disks are not hot etc so cant be brakes sticking /rubbing?
It is making the noise all the time (every rep) and the engine drowns the noise out over 30 mph unless coasting down hill etc. The noise doesn’t go - lessen - or get louder if i turn a corner or brake !
I do need to have the window down to hear it properly. I’ve checked tyres and no screws or stones in them but they do only have 2mm left before the minimum limit line. Tyres are Pirelli scorpions.
Gunno have to ring garage me thinks....just wondering if anyone has had this or similar before to point me in the right direction and what to look for. Also thinking of swaping tyres around and putting the good spare on just to eliminate the tryes.
