Is there a reference somewhere that tells what all the codes are?

I have the IID Tool and I have error codes for speaker short circuits but it only gives a code but not the location. Also I have motor stall codes for the steering wheel adjustment but it doesn't say if its for the tilt or telescopic motor. A reference for all the possible codes would be great.

There are lists of standard OBD codes online - these are the generic emissions related codes, though.

Land Rover specific fault codes are Land Rover proprietary info - and as such (unfortunately) we can't just publish this information. We can compile it from other sources (users), though, and we are setting up a forum and wiki exactly for this purpose.

Please post the exact DTCs and we'll check for you.

No, I don't mind at all.

The prob is not compiling info ourselves, it's copy n pasting LR proprietary info. That is not ok.We would like all of this info in our wiki as well, tho.

Just so everyone is aware.

Are the code descriptions in Topix?

Also, with the new update will we be able to disable the easy exit steering wheel?

Disable the wheel: yes.

Some fault code descriptions (and some additional diagnostic/repair information) is in Topix - but not all.
If there were a simple solution to the problem we'd just tell everyone 'hey, look there'. Unfortunately there isn't - which is why we are working on a wiki.

Oh Happiest of Days!

If I wasn't already pleased enough with my purchase of the IIDTool this will at last enable me to defeat the demented gremlin in my car that controls the easy exit feature. Bow down

Maybe I should have taken my medication before I wrote this post

Ahh yes, those for whom replacing the steering damper on older LRs unnecessary - as it was replaced by the belly-friction-damper. Laughing

England 2011 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

Steve,

I have a late 2004 L322 (2005 model) which has the newer MOST system and touch screen, but also parts from the older version it is a sort of hybrid crossover. My chassis number is up to 5A999999 but I want to make sure the IID tool version can cover the newer version controls that my car has.

Is the DA6400 version ok for this, or do I need to get the one for 6A9999999 chassis cars?

I posted here rather than in a PM as it might be useful for other owners with the same model.

Many thanks,

Tom Tom

Hi Tom,
We are aware of the MY 05's quirks. That's why we specifically list the changeover point as VIN 6A... on rather than 02-05, 06-09, etc. Razz

Actually, the MOST system plays next to no role for us (except for being able to diagnose components on the MOST network of course). Many of the systems contained in the original 02 L322s were carried over all the way to the present MY 12! So, diagnostics is not really the issue for the IIDTool - the display is. Your cluster will have the older display with the black bars/windows

vs. the newer display with one solid field

This is also the issue we have with the MY10>. We need the display. Big Cry
It's coming, tho...
