Battery or starter motor. I believe the starter motor is a swine of a job on this vehicle Big Cry

You need a good 10-15min drive to put a decent amount of juice back into a battery after starting it otherwise your just draining it even more Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

BATTERY15 Thumbs Up

Just enter your car details on their site - it will bring up suggested batteries for your vehicle.

If you do a 'search' there's quite a bit on here about batteries, which ones, fitting process and the 'snug' fit. From people who probably know more than me Whistle

Definately go for the 110. When you fit it, it might seem that it will never fit but it does, albeit very tight! Reformed

The SC does sometimes need a little prod of the accelerator pedal......

To fit the battery you need to open the bonnet fully (access mode) by disconnecting the struts.

Loads of info on this thread -

With batteries on these cars, in a "cold" climate like the UK, I suggest to go for the biggest capacity that you can find (Ah and CCA) to fit. It is a bit like the old American saying "there is no substitute for cubic inches" with batteries that should be amps Wink MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
