Warranty wise

Hi guys,

Just had a return call from warranty wise about my warranty quote,

Basically it was £2200 for three years, any ideas on how I can get this down

They are gonna send me a pack, so then do I wait for a few days and they will

Call me back then haggle.

Your help will be appreciated

I found warranty wise useless, would not recomend them, any excuse they won't pay even after going through there correct procedure.

Will they cover with the Overfinch stuff - what I mean is will they say because of the 22's that all drivetrain, suspension & brakes are void - with the exhaust that voids the engine ?

I would check anything non-standard very carefully.

I reckon you're better putting the £2k aside for repairs if anything goes wrong.

I supply a WARRANTY WISE "Platinum" policy with every sale and sleep easy because of it.

Had a Discovery 3 client call me on Sunday night after catastrophic Wheel Bearing Collapse on Motorway coming home from Wales. Had AA on way and wanted to know what to do.....(Ouch)

I told him to get the car transported home and I would contact Warranty Wise Monday morning. By 9.30 Warranty Wise has been in contact with client and arranged for the local Independent Land Rover garage to collect and access the damage. Car was collected same day and claim forms emailed to client.

I have received several update emails from Warranty Wise confirming they are on the case and ten minutes ago I received a call confirming that the claim had been agreed and £441.00 was being paid direct to Kings Langley Land Rover in full settlement of their invoice.

48 hour payout - Now that's a Warranty worth having in my opinion. Thumbs Up

On my 2004 FFRR, I was quoted £900+ by Warranty Direct online.

Did not take up that offer & forgot about it until I was called by their Customer Services asking why I had not bought & when I said too expensive, they immediately went down to £700 odd. I said I'll think about it & was called back a few days after that at £540 & when I said get it below £500 she spoke to her manager & said £480 for the full top level of cover!

Half price so it's well worth haggling Thumbs Up

Never had to use it mind so in hindsight, it was money down the drain Big Cry Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
