I have noticed a lot of quotes being deleted, only a couple of mine Wink But yous should just get rid of the option if every every quote gets deleted anyways..! Razz

the quote if used properly is a great tool.....there is no reason to quote the previous post, its obvious you are responding to it....you can use the quote button to partly quote the previous post , say a particular sentence or word for instance ..if there's a post several posts further back then by all means quote that if you want to make a comment....

when reading posts its more enjoyable to read as a conversion rather than read the previous post again then the response...its gets really silly when there are multiple quote within quotes...

go to some other forums and tell me that this forum isn't cleaner and more easier to read.... ... - .- -.

With all due respect (I'm a mod on another forum and i know what a difficult job it can be), I think it is over moderated here though.

In a recent thread two cars were being discussed. I had relevant info on one of the two and quoted the link to the car I was discussing. The quote was editted out leaving readers to guess which of the two I was discussing.
