No fortunately the plastic clips were ok but the casing is pretty well scuffed ...not sure how best to sort it, maybe some T-cut?? I thought when it happened the whole unit would need replacing and according to S/T's parts manager that would have be in the region of £300!!! ...so I suppose all things considered I have been lucky

I have still to fit these casings that i bought from Dan a while back .

If my old drivers side one was of any use to you i would send you it up , only problem being the small clips inside are broke , what holds it in place on mine the now is a couple of blobs of silicone and a bit of double sided tape ….

It has been on now for a couple of months and survived me washing the car and the usual Polish car wash places , as i said Jim if it is of any use to you , you can let me know … Thumbs Up

Cheers Mick appreciate that...If I can't remove the scuffs I might just take you up on your offer and bit of silicone wouldn't bother me at all Thumbs Up

England 2011 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

Sorry to hear it, I had a similar thing when a woman was driving towards me in Belgravia (lots of international residents) on the wrong side of the road, I swerved to the side as she just realised and I clipped my wing mirror breaking the auto-dipping glass. Could not get her details as she was going the other way and disappeared. Funny thing was, she was in a Range Rover, I had another Range Rover behind mine, and I had to avoid a parked one in the incident!

They should rename the area Rangerovia.

Had to put in a cheap heated mirror, but it is not the same. Tom
