Rear Tyre Wear

My grabbers are starting to show signs of wear on the outer edge, just like the Nexens did on my 20" a while back.

First thought is to switch the tyres to the other side (that means tyre of one wheel and onto the other wheel to keep rotation correct) - this should give me more time.

But will a 4 wheel laser alignment sort this out, or is this something more fundemental - e.g. a need to replace parts at the rear? .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Sounds like a bush has gone somewhere.

I think this is common on x5's and they share a few mechanical parts with your ffrr Joe.

Maybe get a free landrover health cel and see why it throws up Wink FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Think it may be worth checking toe angle if the edge is smoothly warn, if it's "scalloped" could be trailing arm bushes or similar.

Run your hand round the warn part and see if you can feel inconsistencies.

Sounds like wear in the toe control arms.
