Quick question, does anyone know when Land Rover first introduced the TDV8?

I'm thinking of changing the TD6 for the TDV8 but can't quite stomach the £400 road tax that applies to cars registered after 23rd March 2006.

Are there any TDV8 registered before this date??? 2011 Range Rover TDV8 4.4 Vogue SE

I think the TDV8 was brought out around Sept 06 but don't quote me on it .....I'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong from the forum ........
