Finally back to the world of Range Rover

Hi to all,

I have twenty days left sitting on this oil rig till I can play with my new toy, I sold my XF at two weeks ago then left for Qatar the day after picking up my baby... Oh the frustration of only having one picture to stare at for four weeks ! I drove her once and that was to the airport.
Its been great following this forum and even having owned a FFRR before I have learned much from what I had read so far, I intend to stay with RR this time, and wish I had never been unfaithful and strayed for the last few years, as soon as I sat in the seat I knew there will never be another car for me Bow down

Have a great weekend everybody !!!

Mick.

Thanks for the compliments as I said looking forward to getting home to have a real play, I cant even remember what its got and hasnt got normally I would spend the first few days of ownership locked in the cabin playing with all the toys and reading through the manual... actually sounds familiar thats what I have to do offshore " Book in one hand toy in the other" Thumbs Up

Other thing is because its French reg not sure if all the standard options are the same as UK reg, just guessing at the moment , needs a real clean and I have to change the side airvent colour currently stock silver/grey not sure wether to go piano black and DIY but also considering a dash kit from B&I OEM walnut which I am currently enquiring about fron USA.

Nice one Mick. Thumbs Up

I also went from Td6 to TDV8 and am loving it.

Your Rangie is registered in Calvados not so far from UK in fact. However that doesn't mean you are located there.

Let us know where you are in France in order to help you with local independents or with goood dealers. Wink

Even in France, on the Vogue SE, you should have the 20 inch rims on your 2007. That is unless you have a winter set in 19 and the originale set in 20 in the garage. OR if the original owner requested 19's instead of 20 as a no cost option. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

Cheers verydisco,

I need to change my current car as marked below, the guy advertised it as a SE with all options including vented seats and in my error I did not ask enough questions but I really can't complain, its in very good condition with full LR service etc. It also has most other options so all in all I'm a happy bunny or should i say "je suis un lapin très heureux"
and as I've mentioned before I had my rose tints on at the time so its a vogue! I can live with that Thumbs Up

Yes its a calvados reg but I live in 5O near to Avranches and closest LR is Rennes or Granville which is where I used to take the Jag, but defo interested in indys, Where are you by the way?

Only thing I would have really liked is remote cabin heating but I recall I did not have the timed climate icon, two minds about the 20" I like the look but I love the ride at the moment even if it was only for the 60 mile trip to the airport. Mick Sims
