Small amount of advice needed. Have now agreed the sale of my ffrr and have also found its replacement. It's a 2008 vse but isn't being sold through a LR dealer. As such I would prefer to have it looked at before taking it away.

I have spoken to LR and can put it through their 150 point check for £300. Is there an independent who specialises in this? I've also thought about paying the local LR dealer an hours labour rate to go through the car.

Any advice or what to look for would be appreciated. Obviously with owning a ffrr previously, I am aware that these can be an electrical nightmare, as such I have gone through all the buttons, heated seats, air suspension and all functions well.

I'm in Burton on Trent and the car is in Wolvehampton.

what about the AA or RAC...

I have usd RAC inspections on my last three purchases. They are amazing at the lengths they go to with their checks. Highly recommend them

None of them will check the correct function of the 4x4 abilities....
