No more than a couple of hours, including tea breaks, should do it, if it is your first time at it and you have all the right tools and parts. .

All pretty straight forward apart from the back bolt that fixes the air filter cover. It's a PITA to get out, and even more difficult to get back in. The way to make this so much easier is to remove the rubber trim and a couple of nuts so you can take out the pollen filter housing. It's not as extreme as it sounds (there's probably something on the forum if you search), and access to the breather filter and the rear of the air filter is so much easier. I found out the hard way |

When you've changed the fuel filter before starting put the ignition on and wait approx 40 seconds until the tone changes on the fuel pump... That way you dont cane the starter motor whilst it builds fuel pressure to start...

I followed the info on wiki doing mine for the first time and i did eveything including oil change, fuel filter, air filter, crankacse breather (i changed the whole valve) and it took me a afternoon. The back nut as stated is not the easiet but i put some cloth on the bumper and front and climbed in!!!!
