I've always loved Range Rovers. And I've always loved Land Rovers.

With a 110 and Series on the drive and two V8 Discovery 1's behind me, a RR was always on the list, but the maintenance always put me off.

It was only in the last few months that I was pointed in this direction and it was a pivotal moment because it gave me the confidence to buy an L322.

Like our E-Class and also my 110, we can't think of anything that betters a FFRR. Nothing else compares. There's already a long-term plan to eventually replace my '02 with a TDV8 if things work out.

RRUK makes a very good point. You absorb them because they interest you. Si. <This is my name.

I think we're very much alike Bellini, we both love the older Land Rovers too and now both have a Defender alongside the RR.

I cut my teeth on a Series 3 SWB when I had no money, no sense but lots of enthusiasm! Discovery 4 HSE

Agreed.

Funnily enough, now you make the comparison, have a look at First Four's website. Heavy duty bumpers. They do an exact Defender version, but with RR-style spot lamps flush fitted to the front. Just like an L322...

I've had one on my 110 for two years.

Sorry, I digress. As you were. Si. <This is my name.

Im just the same too, had so many of the LR mark that they are part of the family now, curently have Disco1 v8, 90 v8, mrs Dragons v8 110 and a Land Cruiser ( that the mrs hates ) and wouldnt do with out them...its a love/hate relationship with these.
I wanted a Range Rover ( 38a) for many a year but got talked out of it by the mrs and a mate who works for LR so kept the Disco, the cruiser was its replacement as its a far better tow motor but didnt quite get shot of the Discovery.
Now the ffrr are in price range again the love affair has come back Twisted Evil If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

There is something about the LR brand that seems to attract a higher number of good eggs that any other marque.

Always a pleasure to browse FFRR. Tom
