you can buy a lead that allows for it to work no matter what gear you are in

I tried TV on the move once, mostly out of boredom/curiosity, and it was HIDEOUSLY distracting! Really quite dangerous. Don't want to sound like anyone's Dad but I wouldn't actually recommend it. |

So how can they then distinguish between a sat nav and a tv ? Especially in the monster that is the FFRR

As I have an earlier non touch screen I enabled it with Navcoder but have to say, apart from trying it to see if it works, Ive never actually drove with the TV on, only the headrest screens, except a few times in the drive thru. Reformed |

I have just put in the new digital tv unit in my FFRR.. First time trying it was at the weekend. I was really wanting to get it on the front screen whilst on the move, so as the front passenger could watch it... Jeez, it's dangerous.. You can't compare it to the sat nav. I tried not to look at it, I even had my elbow at a daft angle to try and cover the screen. Nope, i was pleased I could use the 753 menu, I like finding stuff out about the car, but it will NOT be used on the move again... And to think I was going to buy the cable to enable on-the-move viewing.... 753 has saved me £100!!!!! Previously..
