High milage ffrr whats yours?

Ok have used the search section but cant find what Im looking for
so I thought I'd ask this

Anyone here owns high milage ffrr's and had no issues with it ?

I dont have a ffrr yet (currently trying to sell my Land Cruiser and Disco 1) but my Cruiser has just over 218000 miles on a 4.5 petrol, the only problem I had when bought it 4 years ago was the rusty bits but soon sorted that, otherwise its been fine as you would expect from toyota Rolling Eyes

As for the disco........14 year old and only 68300 miles, yes I know it's just run in Rolling with laughter If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

107K on a 2005 BMW 4.4 version. Original 'box too! Thumbs Up

I hope to run it to around 200K. I'm sure it'll have gone through a 'box by then, but I maintain it religiously and do oil services every 5K with Motul 5W-40 full-synthetic so the engine ought to hang around for a bit....hopefully!

P.S. I use the old school Mercedes-Benz maintenance regimen of coolant flush every 2 years and brake fluid every year. Air filter every 15K and plugs every 60K so my rig has been a happy camper thus far! Cheers,

98k on a 2003 TD6, which is clearly not high looking at the others.

It had 81k on it when I brought it in October 2010. Reformed

128K The highest I know of was over 250K on original engine & gearbox - but then that had fluid changes at half LR's recommendations.

I look after an 02 4.4 V8 RR with 235K (ish) and an 02 TD6 HSE with 310K The TD6 i've looked after since 130K and the last 180K has been on both the current engine & gearbox... Thats good maintenance for you...

To add to my previous post, last week had to get new high pressure fuel injector. Well annoyed.. Was leaking diesel all over driveway. Got my gearbox serviced,Indy said looked pretty good.. U could be lucky with these cars tho Wink

Craig what kind of service schedule does the high miler get and do you think it makes any difference the length of drive/run it gets when used? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
