Buying help needed

Hello everyone, im looking at buying a RR vogue, im after a diesel as its for towing my stock car, i have between 10-16k to spend, any hints tips or advice for a total 4x4 newbie when going to look at them, had a quick look round the forum and so many different things pop up!
