Steering wheel adjustment.

I fitted a brand new leather steering wheel of the smooth nappa leather type complete with paddles Cool .

The only issue I have is that steering wheel was always even before change ever so slightly off to the right . I tried to compensate by putting the new wheel on one spline to the left but that meant the wheel was too far to the left so i changed it back to where it originally was which is still very slightly to the right.
I remember i had the same issue on my P38 and when I pointed this out the mechanic made a slight adjustment within the engine bay i think it may have been the steering box which made the wheel exactly straight. Can this be done on the L322 as althought its off by a few mm it bugs me. Thumbs Up Present :2008 TDV8 HSE
