I had an '84 280GE LWB and a 2000 G500 and would not recommend getting rid of your RR for a G. While the G is a very well built machine and immensely capable off-road, 98% of the time, you're probably going to be on tarmac in which case the RR is the much better choice. As an aside, if you wanted a G, you'd be better off with an older, W460 chassis truck like a 280 gas or 300 diesel. Although, the penultimate G would be a G320 or G350 Turbodiesel, but we didn't get either of those here in the US, unless they were grey-market imports. A friend has a '97 G320 and it is sweet, but he's actually wanting to sell it and replace it with a P38 Rangie Go figure. Cheers,

If you want to change, why not change to a different RR ?? For example an S/C or a TDV8. Say a 2007MY or newer with the rotary dial and maybe the cold weather pack. One with the FBH would be great in Sweden (actually in all of Europe at the moment) and the heated seats/steering wheel etc. will be very nice in the European winter I guess. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
