United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Indus Silver

I still like the original and 2006 facelift more than my 2010, but the 4.4 tdv8 doesn't come with a choice of those...

If you look at the mules the roofline is the same as are many other of the characteristics in the pics I hate to say it but I bet you that's exactly what the new rr is gonna look like Big Cry "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

I really can't see how the move to the Evoque type styling fits in with the rumoured significant uplift in luxury (and pricetag).

To me, it's one or the other - if you want to target the the Bentley/Aston martin market with a £100k motor you simply cannot go for a mass market style bling machine similar to the Evoque. It works for the Evoque because there is a large enough target market with £30-40k budget. Step up to £100k and the numbers will drop exponentially, especially in the 30-50's age range and none of these buyers (footballers/WAGS excepted) are at all interested in the bling aspect of the car.

Yes, an update is needed to keep the car modern, but go too far left field and they will lose the status they have spent the last 50 years moulding.

Tata will have a hand in the design, but they are not as stupid as people think.

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

I see a market coming up for companies offering the "retro pack" on the L405. It will make it look more distinguished and less "blingy". Now we have the upgrading of the MY 2006 plus to 2010 ongoing, then we will have the L405 to MY2006-2010 "upgrade". Look forward to still having an "original L322 S/C" when that starts to happen Smile MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

I think it'll be quite similar to the current one, but with tweaks to give it the more modern evoque hints of styling. ( not necessarily like the evoque, but hints of it )

I remember when the new jag xj was being shown on pictures and thinking ... gads, that looks crap. Having seen a few out on the road now and sat in a few, I really think its a gorgeous machine. I'll bide my time and wait for the finished article I think. V8 or else ...

I've seen the mule in the flesh, stationary, at the Whitley HQ and I'd say this assessment was spot on.
