We're needing a new car seat as the little'n is now 9mths and needs a group 1 seat. So, we'e seen an isofix one we like http://www.britax.co.uk/car-seats/car-seats/safefix-plus (got £70 knocked off in mothercasre too) but when i check the "Fit-Finder" (http://www.britax.co.uk/car-seats/fit-finder) section it doesn't have Range Rovers 2006 onwards so i believe that this means its not been crash tested.

However, this isn't just for this seat this is all seats on that site so I was wondering if its just that the 2006+ FFRR isn't any different to the 2002-2005 in terms of safety so they've not tested it - or am i just kidding myself and should stay clear???

Any help or info greatly appreciated!!!

Hi - I believe it is just that they have not added newer versions to the website (as no real changes have been to the car)

The cars have been crash tested and the seats have been crash tested just not together. We've just been through this as our little "cherub" has turned three and into the next size up.

I believe according to Britax the site is more about correct fitment to the car (i.e. isofix or not) and whether it needs additional head rest adjustors or fixings not and not that the seat would be any good.

Obviously this in not official advice from me just what I found out during the process. Ash

The seats and isofix are the same upto the TDV8 in 07ish... So if you can't find an 06 it's because it's classed as an 02>...

Personally, I think the rear seat is the same upto 2009 or 2010 but they changed the front seats on a TDV8... I would take it as yours is the same as an 02> model...
If it was my choice (and I have two children) I would purchase and use in the rear no problem...
