Except it might not be part of the UK by the time he comes - it wont be if the English are allowed to vote on the subject of Scots independance... Laughing

Exactly. I deal with a lot of Americans through my work and until they are here they think the UK is one small country, they haven't a clue that we are made up of 4 small countries

Thanks guys for all the input. I have also been to Scotland myself. During my university program, we took some classes at Edinburgh. I know she would love anywhere in the UK whether it be England, Wales, Scotland or Ireland (and yes, I know the difference Wink )

I sort of ruled out everything but England proper because of my wanting to sneak in the car factory visit. Besides, if I can set us up in Cheshire, we shan't be far from my holy mecca of factories Whistle

I found this website; english-country-cottages.co.uk which has some delightful places.

And LOL Mick, well yeah, we have the spics, coons, wogs...the whole lot. It's just more exotic to see them with British accents Rolling with laughter Cheers,

Aaron

If you're heading to play golf at St Andrews you'll need to get in "ye olde tartan" shop to get your tartan plus 4's, different tartan hose, along with another different tartan "bunnet" (look it up!)

I've seen some sights on the first tee at the Old Course that would make Coco the Clown look like he was wearing a Saville Row suit! Censored Rolling with laughter Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
