Ive bagged myself a real cheap set of these that need a refurb but I'm not sure if I should refurb in chrome as is, go silver like normal alloys or go with a dark silver like bonnatti as its the same price no matter the color, £50 per wheel.

Kingpleb, are you sure these are autobiography wheels? I thought these were land rover option wheels? Dan was selling similar ones (ball polished IIRC) and my car originally had these added by the first owner, sadly they neglected them and the dealer had them refurbed prior to my purchasing the car. Mine are now standard silver. Chrome is not a good look IMHO. |

Will, I did a "quick" self-refurb on the wheels on my P38, the colour is silver but a little darker than normal and if I'm honest, it doesn't look as good as a nice standard "light" silver would look (IMO!). If I were keeping it I'd do them again but as it will be up for sale shortly (guess what I've spent all weekend cleaning and fettling :rolleyes) I'll leave them as-is.

Well I've picked them up and am in the course of double checking the price to restore them as is one up a hit since I last had wheels done, about £10 a wheel..
