Nespresso

Just bought one of these machines as they were being sold off cheap in Best Buy.

Have to say, I'm really impressed with it. Just a bit worried that my coffee intake will escalate now! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

They are, but you can no longer order from their website as they're closing down.

The one I bought was £70. RRP is £119 on the Nespresso website and currently £102 on amazon.

Interestingly, Nespresso is being marketed as 'luxury goods' category. Compliments the FFRR perfectly then! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

I've had one for a while and makes great coffee. it was a pressie, but the pods are quite expensive imho and available only from a limited number of outlets unless I am mistaken and therefore not discounted Sad

About 30p each aren't they?
I've just been on YouTube and seen some people re-using the capsules using a bit of tin foil! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Mine is a Krups. Same machine just slightly different styling.

I don't think that Comet one was ever £170 though. This one on the nespresso website is almost identical http://www.nespresso.com/uk/en/product/M100A+ECO+GLAM 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

We have the Krups machine as well, and it's really good. SWMBO regards it as one of life's necessities, and has become an "expert" on the choice of capsules that are available.
Nespresso have recently started a recycling service where you leave a sealed bag of used capsules for collection when your next batch of capsules is delivered.
The coffee can't be described as cheap, but IMHO it's worth the cost, (and decaff options are available). Thumbs Up

I only mentioned it in passing for anyone who's a bit of a lightweight, but to answer your question, yes I probably am. Laughing

Living near Birmingham, I can get the capsules from Selfridges. There's only a couple of Places you can buy them nationwide apparently. I think they're missing a trick there.

I've been putting the used ones in the recycling bin to be honest. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

I have had Nespresso machines for years and still have at least one espresso a day. The espresso (Ristretto) is the closest I have found to "real" Italian espresso as they served in Milan espresso bars when I worked there ages ago. I can't drink "normal" coffee anymore after tasting these (I don't count a Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha as coffee !!!) but that is a very small price to pay Smile
Cost wise I think the capsules are worth their price. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Just had the £40 credit applied to my Nespresso account. Only stipulation is that it has to be spent in one transaction and all on coffee. I've got to determine which one I like first! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
