I am looking at replacing the 20" tyres on my stock LR 20" 7 spoke alloys.

It seems that there are only a few choices as listed below: Can anyone advise on which is the best all season tyre and why I should pick it?

From the pictures on websites, I think that Mich, Goods and Dunlop seem to have fat shoulders. Meaning higher confort but more lazy cornering behaviour. I prefer a more squared shoulder tyre.

The car is not all that bad at cornering so why ruin it...

I would stick with Pirellis, Continental or also ones from yokohama

Besides these three are the only ones available with the 109Y rating. The other ones I think only available on 109V.

Mine has got Pirellis

Conti's caus I get them at Trade and they are simply the best

Mick, depending on how it goes at the Dealer on the 5th (next Tues) if they won't budge on the tyres I'm looking at replacing all 4 with brand new and I may as well get the best.

I haven't found an alloy + tyre package for the 06MY+ with TPMS. At the moment the cheapest option is looking to be buying tyres and getting a local outfit to swap them onto my alloys.

Good price and size seems a middle compromise i.e. 265-50-20 as opposed to 255-50-20. At least they keep the 50 profile.

Load index is ok at 111 and speed rating W is up to 168mph.

Does anyone know what Yokohama tyres are like to live with in the UK? Discovery 4 HSE
