Returned from Vegas..nonetheless richer or poorer thankfully. If we thought our RR's were big, you need to go and see their 4x4's. I saw 3 FFRR's all week over there and they looked....small.

Anyway...as for the sills...I fitted them this afternoon! It took 5 minutes to remove the old front mud flaps, 4 minutes to remove the plastic plugs under the existing sills, pop it off and 2 minutes to fit the new ones...job done. I'm no machanic, but can do an airfix, so anyone is capable of doing this.

I do however need to order and fit new front flaps to suit the profile of the new sills.

OK, pictures as promised of the AB side sills fitted to my MY2011 4.4TDV8. Note that I have yet to fit new front mud flaps. Personally I like them, they make the car a bit chunkier...

Looking good Ade fit looks like a pro did it .. Now googs over to you ...

I've ordered new front flaps from Dan, so I hope to get them fitted at the weekend if they arrive in time. I also hope I can reuse the exiting holes where the old ones used to be

Update: New mud flaps to suit the AB sills arrived from Dan (great service). The good news is that the new flaps cover the two 10mm holes drilled into the panel below the side vents that were made to bolt the old mud flaps.

The not so good news is that they do not cover the marks left by the old flaps on the lower panel. The marks are actually cut into the paint of the panel.

So... I've ordered two new panels from my local dealer.
