2005 immobiliser

I've just bought a 2005 year rr vogue , does anyone know if the standard immobiliser is thatcham approved or not ?

I think the factory fit immobilisers are just classed as 'factory fit' or 'manufacturer fit'.

Is this for insurance purposes? Discovery 4 HSE

yes its for insurance , i've got a decleration to sign that says - if this vehicle is fitted with a factory fit immobiliser that is thatcham approved please tick this box ?

insurance is through sureterm direct

Hey cookie, I have just stumped up 400 for a RAC Trackmaster, the standard RR immobiliser is not thatcham or whatever approved. Depending on your insurance company they exclude your RR until you get one. You will get a deal at the mo. ABout 350 - 400 fit and then 120 a year .

Good luck Got my 06 Vogue Buckingham Blue, TD6 Supercharged vents and grille, 19 Vogue alloys. Got it today and very very happy!!!
