Decatting, yes as with LPG they only smoke test for the exhaust, though i'd reccomend getting a knackered one and banging its guts out and using it instead of killing a good one

Been there done that. I had to fill up 3 times a day when doing serious mileage. To be fair it was a 4.2 S/C and I had lots of problems. The guys seem to have these sorted now but I wouldn't swap my relaxed economical long distance TDV8 for a lpg conversion any day. |

I was told by Superchips, DMS and JE Engineering that for the money, the BMW 4.4 V8 isnt worth doing, very little difference.

I had the remap about six months ago, still loving it. Mainly drive around town so not great on fuel and on the motorway I tend to be the fastest car on the road so again not great on fuel. |

just0007, what map do you have and what mpg do you get from your spirited driving?. I only get about 24 mpg from mine with the Bluefin and steady combined town, country lane and m/way driving. It drives much better though. |

I have the je remap, their website list the power increase, you can really tell the difference. As far as fuel consumption goes it has been doing about 18mpg round town, lots of very short journeys. London to Hexham so about 300 miles at a very steady 99 it does about 21mpg. But at a recent service the discovered a fuel leak from the pipe that takes the unburnt fuel back to the tank from the injectors. I have not used it much since so I don't know if the fuel consumption has improved. Will let everyone know |
