L405 Air Conditioning GAP IID readings

Does anyone know the normal air conditioning pressures for the L405. Ours is working but the face vent fan needs to work hard to maintain the in-car temperature.

The temperature outside today is about 24°C and the pressure readings I am getting with GAP IID are about 550kPa with the engine off and about 1165kPa with the engine idling.

Pressure doesn't really tell the whole story, air con systems are filled by weight, try Halfords, I believe they still have a "no colder, no fee" offer going on... Thumbs Up Pete

I know this is an old thread, but I discovered today that my aircon isn’t working. I found this post while searching for what a “normal” value might be. With a system pressure of 150 kpa mine is much lower than the original poster’s, so I guess that’s at least part of the problem.

9 times out of 10 it's low on gas, my 405 was, just blew cold out the passenger side...

Pressure tested and re-filled and it's been icy cold for 18 months.

You will have the same gas as me, it's the expensive stuff R1234, around £150 to re fill.... Pete
