Wrington - but they are marine stainless and over £10 a nut for our cars - ouch

They generally rust as the finish gets chipped off in use. I used a small plastic tube about 25mm across and about 60mm deep as a spray tube. Everytime I fitted the nuts I'd use satin black aerosol squirted down the tube and it recoated the nuts in fresh paint.

Hello, It says range rover on the bonnet but was actualy the Evoque, mates wife bought one with black wheels and the nuts were stainless and just stood out, whilst on holiday they left it with me so off they came, shot blasted masked up and powdercoated gloss black..... well what a transformation the car looks now. OEM were 250 for 20 ouch. Big Vee. |
