When new they were supplied with a wrench / key in the tool kit to manually operate the motor - it fits in that hole on the motor in your pic. If yours has the original tool kit it will be in there. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |

I've never seen a metal sunroof on a 322. Could it have been custom made/replaced or custom ordered?

Yes as said above you need to put the CORRECT SIZE allen key in the centre of the bolt hole and close/open it manually sir |
