Summary: A customer may report a concern that the satellite navigation system does not operate and only displays the Land Rover logo. In some cases the radio and/or the telephone bluetooth functionality may also be inoperative.

This Version has been issued due to a change in the Service Procedure to carry out L8803BU, in order to ensure the route cause of the water ingress is also investigated.

Cause: Water ingress in the area of the left-hand rear quarter light glass or body panel may enter into the navigation unit resulting in the above complaint. However, in extreme conditions water ingress may effect any/all of the following modules (dependent upon model year and vehicle specification): •Telephone control unit (TCU). •DVD Player. •Satellite digital audio radio system (SDARS) tuner/receiver - (NAS only). •Power Amplifier. Action: Should a custome express concern regarding the above, refer to the Service Procedure detailed in this bulletin to install water ingress protection when renewing the navigation unit.
