if you open the upper tailgate there are three 10mm bolts, thats all that hold the rear spoiler in place. Once out the spoiler slides off towards the rear of the car on two plastic slider bolts... 5 min job and gives you great access to clean and lube everything once a year... If you slide it off there is enough cable on the brake light to put the spoiler upside down on a towel on the roof... credit to cam-tech-craig..
