Replacing TV with DVD?

I guess this question may have been asked before but I'm not sure what to search for!

Given the impending demise of analog TV, and given that I don't really watch it anyway, is there any such thing as an interface (aka box of tricks!) which would allow me to replace my tuner with a DVD player? I have a 2006 non-RSE facelift touchscreen in-betweeny model!

if you want to fit the factory dvd ...you need the RSE module as well ...you cant have just the DVD player ( you would also need it enabling by someone with a faultmate / autologic kit as the dealers cant do it )

you could get yourself a GVIF interface which would allow you to connect aftermarket stuff to the screen ( about £200 just for the interface )

alternativly upgrade to digital TV ...theres about 60 channnels on a good day .

digital tv tuner is a straight swap and is very simple to do

Thanks Wiggs. I was just wondering whether I could somehow replace the analog tv with a DVD player - is that the GVIF interface option?

Reminds me, I must get one of your Bluetooth jobbies - are you selling at the moment?

Not really ... Tv is connected in via the Most ( fibre optic )

Gvif is completely different

Bluetooth ... Yes

Either Bluetooth exchange service or I have some new 2010 onwards modules for sale .
