Approaching 70k now, and got me thinking - I would imagine the next service (80k?) is a major one with cambelt etc.

You're right we should tell him Ok, it's like this The nice people at your Land Rover dealership are not in the slightest interested in your car now as it is too old for them to sell on their forecourt, so when you go to trade it in all they will do is offer you as little as they think they will get away with and put it to auction. So what you should do is find a good indy close by and let him service it for around half the cost of what Land Rover would charge, because when you trade it in I doubt if the dealer will even ask the question, "does it have a service history?" |
