TDV8 - Buying advice needed

Hi,
I am very strongly thinking of swapping my D3 for FFRR TDV8
What shell I be aware of when inspecting before committing to buy?
is there known list of typical things going? I understand I need to check all electric gizmos on inspection and try TR in all settings including low range and all
Any advice would be appreciated
Cheers

Generally a very reliable engine. Same as fitted in the RRS. Obviously as with any Range Rover, check the suspension works, high range low range etc. Electrical gremlins will be the main issue if any.

As long as you have access to a good service engineer most problems can be overcome with out too much stress. TDV8 3.6 is a lovely car, plain and simple. They drive well and you feel good driving them. Steve B

No Brembos on the 2010 3.6 TDV8, they're two-piston cast iron sliding calipers.

I thought Brembos were out for 2010, then reinstated for 2011.

I think 2010s will take a 19" wheel but 2011s can only take a 20" - the difference being the front brakes. Not branded Brembo though.

Brembo brakes were dropped for 10MY and reintroduced for 11MY but branded RANGE ROVER rather than Brembo. MY11 Vogue models came standard with 19" wheels, although 10MY 19" wheels will not fit 11MY or 12MY vehicles.
