Does your centre vent wheel illuminate at night?

I know that LR stopped the side vent wheels from being lit as they reflected in the windows, but is the central vent wheel on the dash also non illuminated? I have seen some photos of L322 interiors where it is lit, but I am not sure if that is the updated dash version or not.

Does anyone with a 2002-2005 L322 have an illuminated centre temperature control vent wheel? Tom

Just checked my car - 2003 TD6. Centre vent area lit as shown below.

To the sides: Green and white blobs (on - off), thumb wheel white mark.

Below: Red and Blue blobs (hot - cold) - actually the blue isn't lit but I assume a bulb gone lol No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

Interesting so the actual temperature thumb wheel in the centre of the dash does not seem to be backlit itself, so there is no way of telling what setting it is on without switching on the interior light. Tom

The thumb wheel is notched, and the settings are "feelable" so you could scroll the wheel fully to one side and then back to the setting you want without having to turn a light on, but agreed, it is an annoyance. .
