18" wheels on a TDV8?

I have done a search on this, but cannot find any posts.

Is anybody running 18" wheels on their TDV8?? I'm thinking of putting a set of aggresive mud tyres on a spare set of 18" wheels - if they will fit.

Not only would it be better off road, but the tyres are also a fair bit cheaper and significantly more choice in 18 rather than 19's.

I already have the rims, just want to avoid breaking the jack out if anybody is already running them

Thanks in advance Thumbs Up

Shocked blimey, thanks Mick, Thumbs Up

do you know I searched almost that exact title too 18" wheels, not rims though, shows how particular the search function is.

Doesn't look like std RR 18" alloys will clear the Brembo's Neutral

Non-Brembo on the 2010 facelift 3.6, all the 4.4s have the big six-pots.

You may be able to fit 18'' on yours, but there is a weight on the calipers you would need to take off to do so.
Therefore you are messing with your brakes.

Alternarively you could fit smaller front caliper from say the V8 D3, or the 2002/2006 N/A V8.

To each his own, I would not do any of those, and I really hate the fact one can not fit 18'' the TDV8 Rangies Evil or Very Mad
