Mine is doing what it says below but is costing me £1.22 a litre Smile

Just going to try a 2stroke mix as well now to help smooth it out in the colder weather as i've shoved some ultimate in to ensure it doesn't wax if it drops below -10/15 Smile

I've done LPG before and as there is only one reasonable place to buy it locally it would have to be a good SC to make me go for that route as normally its 70p/litre which is stupid, i only paid 20p/litre when i first moved to it years ago and it steadily crept upto 50p/l Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

yeh I suppose i need to do the match...running a tdv8 in the city is going to get me roughly 20mpg? My SC is getting me 11.5mpg @ 1.30pl vs diesel 1.40pl.

Im predicting i will have to spend another 5k after selling the SC to get a tdv8 then there's the residuals, anyone done the maths on this? Smile Range Rover SC 35th Anniversary 2006

You need to get checking auctions or ask local dealers to contact you if they get one in as it could sve them time sedit it off to auction Smile

If you have to do maths it's going to be a tdv8 option I'm afraid Smile

I get upto 22/23mpg from a td6 about town with an average speed of just over 30mpg and ok more than 40mph limits all the way bar 2miles of national which I don't really go above 55 on Smile and the school run that I've been doing all week is even worse, 10minutes or less all in 30mph zone and some idling time at junctions. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

yeh i do an average speed of around 18mph in built up city traffic heading to work in the SC so that gives me around 10mpg...OUCH!

I wonder how the tdv8 would fair against the tdv6 within this kind of gridlock driving. Range Rover SC 35th Anniversary 2006

Probably a few mpg more as even with the school run and snow this week I'm doing about 19, including doughnut practice!!!

A tdv8 will do better due to the gearbox more than the engine though Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
