Tried using the search function but couldn't find anything, on the 2010 models they don't seem to have the rubber at the bottom of the tailgate glass, can this be removed from an early model to achieve the same effect? if so how is it removed?

Not sure if it is easy to clean any muck from under the glass lip that might have lodged there with the rubber in place. Let us know how straight forward it is. Tom

Why were these things not done with the conversion Josh? Peeling badges and this weather strip... Were they not addressed at the time of the conversion?

Its not done as part of the conversion where i took it. Probably why they can do it for £2850. What do you mean about peeling badges?

In your other post you said you stuck your own badges on rather than have Lee do it for you.

I had him do mine whilst it was there, so I assume there's a story behind that one......

Ah ok, wasn't advertised in the service he was offering, and he beat all my other prices by a long way. quite happy to do those myself. Plus i need to get the tailgate painted before putting the new ones on there.

Well ive removed the trim, the gap is definitely bigger than on my friends 2010 and the black tint around the edge (factory) is de-laminating leaving the corners white.

Going to speak to a friend who does car glazing tomorrow about buying a new rear screen. Im not sure if its had a replacement rear screen at some point and its been sealed in a bit too high, does anyone know if the 2010- rear window is a different size?
I think ill ask if he can get me a factory tinted one. I hate how little things annoy me .
