Sorry to hear about your woes. My MOT came back with the same advisory, make you wonder if you can just put a piece of black sticky table over the dash warning lights to get past the recent changes which (as I understand it) make having the TPMS warning light on a failure by April... Turn it into an 'advisory' dash has sticky tape covering preventing work. |

Had the adaptive headlight warning after a dead battery. Cured by lock to lock a couple of times IIRC.

I seriously hope they never charged you for rear balljoints as there are none on the vehicle |

Covers are good and bad at MOT time. MOT inspectors are not allowed to remove them so if you have something to hide they can do the job very well, however they can also cover up nasties that you would rather know about and have rectified.

I would imagine that by stating that the covers were in place the MOT inspector can limit his responsibility and therefore liability.
