Did they test it before they handed the car back?

No test before they handed it back, not sure what they could do without any frost or snow.. I've ruled out a blown fuse as I'm getting power at the "A" pillar connector. |

Just give your insurers a call - and get it send to a repairer of your choice (Glassman on PH), they will sort the bill out for you and get it working again. |

Thanks for the tip Ram. But what who/what are Glassman? Goggle listed loads of references, but nothing that looked useful. |
