Heated Front Screen (L322 - 2002)

I've just had a new front screen fitted by one of the UK's major glass replacement services and it appears not to be working i.e. it isn't "burning off" any of the recent frost, or show any signs of melting the recent snow.

I've checked the connections at the bottom of the "A" pillar and once separated, I have continuity across the female connectors and power across the male connectors. I have cleaned them up as best I could, given the limited access, but stil no sign of life.

Anything I could've missed?

No test before they handed it back, not sure what they could do without any frost or snow.. I've ruled out a blown fuse as I'm getting power at the "A" pillar connector.

Just give your insurers a call - and get it send to a repairer of your choice (Glassman on PH), they will sort the bill out for you and get it working again.

Thanks for the tip Ram. But what who/what are Glassman? Goggle listed loads of references, but nothing that looked useful.

Glassman is in fact Paul @ www.glasstecauto.co.uk
He is the only person I would recommend, and will get the job done correctly. He has worked on some amazing stuff and comes well recommended.
